SERVING SHELTERS

Shelters are promoted through the dogs themselves. Every time a student uses Faux Paws to bring a dog to campus, attention will be drawn to the local shelters, as their logos are featured both in the app and on a bandana that all dogs will wear while on duty. When students spend time with these dogs in need, pressure is relieved from the shelter workers and volunteers because they know the dogs are being loved. Furthermore, Faux Paws supports the "Adopt, Don't Shop" movement, which encourages people to adopt dogs rather than buy them from breeders or puppy mills. For every dollar made, 75% of earnings are donated directly back to shelters to help care for their animals.
